The UK post office scandal and how it should change what we teach psychology students: Critical thinking, plagiarism, Milgram and individualism
Abstract
Written as someone who has been teaching psychology to university students for 30 years, this paper looks into the history of the post office to help make more sense of the wide-scale injustice against sub postmasters, known as the post office scandal.There are lessons for what we teach our students at university and for what psychology does to help and hinder our understanding of such scandals.
