The bright and the dark side of the self-help movement
Abstract
Lending on one's perspective and field of activity, a retrospective view of the beginnings of self-help in the psychosocial field in Germany after 1945 does not present a uniform picture. In what follows, I focus on developments and ruptures that I took part in shaping and describe them from my perspective.
