Institutional support in crises during discontinuation of psychiatric drugs
Abstract
Institutional support for people who chose to reduce and discontinue psychotropic drugs should follow the preferences of the person concerned. Support may be provided at home, in an outpatient clinic, at a day-hospital or an inpatient unit. Particular attention should be given to the roles of families and friends.
