People, poetry and politics - the novels of Don Bannister
Abstract
This paper addresses the novels of Don Bannister, who is perhaps better known as a leading British exponent of Personal Construct Theory. The critique arises as the author applies the sociological theory and the political values, particularly around 'race' and gender, he has engaged with over the past half century.
