Anorexia Nervosa in contemporary societies: a critical perspective
Abstract
This paper provides a critical perspective on anorexia nervosa in the light of the most recognized trends and characteristics of contemporary western societies, contextualizing the phenomenological experience of anorexia in a broad macrosocial analysis.
